KE Booster are sponsoring a canned food drive! It is a school wide challenge. We want to reach from one end of the school to the other with items to send to the local food pantries. Please help our class in contributing to this challenge. It is the perfect time of year to think of others.

Also a few weeks ago I posted about our class basket for KE Fun Night. Yes, Fun Night is a ways away but this year I want to do a holiday basket. Any holiday items that you want to send our way for the basket are greatly appreciated. I thought this would be something we could add to all year long.

Reminder...we will be traveling to the Herbert Hoover Museum next Tuesday. We are planning to leave right after lunch and will return before the early bus arrives.

The KE Staff are also giving the gift of rollerskating to the kids! On Dec. 16 we will be traveling to the Wellman Rec. Center to enjoy a few hours of fun filled skating. There was a paper in your child's Friday Folder this past week. Please fill it out and return it ASAP! If you are not sure if you already did this or not send me an email!

It is VERY cold outside. We do go outside to recess in the morning, mid day and later in the afternoon. Please make sure your child has appropriate clothing to be outside. If you need help finding winter gear please let me know!
