Grandparent's Day 2011
Grandparents Day will be here very soon! If your child is leaving with his/her grandparent please send me a note or an email before Thursday.
As a class we are going to be decorating Ice Cream Cone Christmas Trees. Any candies, sprinkles, green food coloring etc. that you can send our way is greatly appreciated!Please send things TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY).
Students have earned a behavior party for filling our class marble jar. We are going to watch a movie and munch on a snack tomorrow afternoon. If your child would like to bring a snack for him/herself please allow them to do so. Preferably something that does not need to be refrigerated.
Skating, Spelling and Stockings
Last week each student decorated their own stocking. We used glue and glitter to make some sparkly stockings. They wrote their names with glue and drew pictures with the glue as well. Next they were able to choose a glitter color and sprinkle it on top. They turned out great.
For Spelling all of the lists had a special project to do. List one had to sort their words based on the "sh" and "ch" sounds. Lists 2 and 3 had to sort their words into ABC order and write them as well.
Thank you to the KES Boosters for providing the transportation cost for our skating party! The kids were full of smiles and laughter...even when falling down, multiple times!
