Join us for a family picnic on Tuesday, February 28, 5:15 PM at Kalona Elementary School as we celebrate “NEA Read Across America Week”and the importance of children's literacy.

5:15-6:15 Free "picnic style" Meal in the Gym

6:30-7:30 Author Julie Heinks. Author of Andrew's Story. Literacy activities will be available throughout the building for children while parents listen to author Julie Heinks share her heartfelt story about her son Andrew.

Free book give-a-way to every student in attendance!
Parent door prize give-a-ways too!
