In Math we have finished Unit 2 and have moved onto Unit 3 this week. We took our test on Thursday and had great results. I will go over these tests with you at conferences. (If you have not returned your lime green conference paper please do so ASAP. I have sent home conference reminders to those of you who have given a date and time preference.)
I have posted the new spelling words for the week. Last weeks spelling tests were great! I could tell that they had practiced at home throughout the week! We did not have time for a pre-test yesterday. We were able to take 30 minutes to enjoy a snippet of the High School play. We will be doing spelling activities throughout the week so I have not doubt that this weeks tests will go just as wonderfully! :)
Today in Science we conducted an experiment to find out which fabric would be best to wear out in the rain. We brainstormed what type of clothes we thought would be best to wear, looked and felt the 4 different types of fabric and then began our experiment. We dumped water over 4 types of fabric to see which ones soaked in the water and which ones were water resistant. The kids did a great job of ta
